"In 2007, the foundation launched a new grant program called Opportunity Online. The program is designed to help the 40 percent of U.S. public libraries still struggling to provide reliable technology services for people with no other access to computers and the Internet."

Ohio? Michael Samuelson and I are learning about the new Web 2.0 platform that Web Junction will be debuting later this summer. Today we learned about the ways that the content management system handles content, how to brand our community partner page, and build community.

Fall 2008/ Spring 2009 Let's Talk About It Application
Apply for the Fall 2008 through Spring 2009 programs. Get the application here. The deadline is Friday, May 16, 2008. Funding is available for fifteen libraries to participate. Participating libraries provide a $100 cash match.
