The Idaho Commission for Libraries is happy to annouce a new grant opportunity for STEM learning this summer.
How easy was it for parents to help young children track the amount of reading done over the summer? Was the performer you chose money well-spent? Why was your teen program attendance lower than last year? Why is your library only reaching about 10% of the student population in your area?
We are excited to announce that ICfL is once again partnering with
the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation (IDPR) to offer free state
park passes to Idaho libraries hosting summer reading programs.
The Commission is now accepting applications for Bright Futures
Summer Outreach Programs. These opportunities are designed to reach more
children with summer reading programs, especially those considered
“underserved.” Each program is designed to achieve specific outcomes and
participating libraries must report results in the ICfL annual summer
