The Collection is a new service for Idaho library staff from the Idaho Commission for Libraries (ICfL). It includes content of interest to library staff in the areas of management, leadership, maker spaces, programming, and technical services, and much more.

Use of The Collection is limited to Idaho library staff. It can be accessed using a link on ICfL website at http://libraries.idaho.gov/thecollection.

The ebooks in The Collection come from a variety of publishers, so restrictions for printing, saving, and simultaneous viewers will vary by title. The limitations are clearly identified when viewing a title in the system. The ebooks are generally in PDF format and can be viewed right within the interface or downloaded to a mobile device. Many of the books are available for simultaneous viewing.

This spring, The Collection will see the addition of over 40 books focusing on leadership, management, and project management. Is there a book you would like to see added? Just email lili@libraries.idaho.gov with your request.

The Collection is made possible with funds through the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA), the ICfL Continuing Education program, and Libraries Linking Idaho (LiLI).
