This is a DRAFT for review purposes only. Please contact us to report any errors you spot or with any questions you may have.</p> <p>Establishing an effective system for gathering, compiling, and making good use of descriptive statistical data regarding the status of and support for our public school libraries and media centers is no mean task. With that in mind, we extend a huge thank you to the 120 school librarians who participated in this ground-breaking research effort. As the new school year unfolds, we will be working hard to integrate findings from this pilot project with the impact study of Idaho school libraries on academic achievement, due to be released toward the end of Fall term.
