At about 2:30pm in Ohio today, Thursday August 11th, the one billionth item was added to the OCLC WorldCat database. It’s All Good is sure to have all the details about who, what and how as they are available.
Idaho libraries can count themselves lucky to have ILL access to those 1 billion items through LiLI Unlimited’s Resource Sharing program.
Update 8/12/05, 9:43am - OCLC has more information about the 1 billionth holding in WorldCat on their site. Hey, hey, we’re the Monkees!…
