Get a Print Digital Literacy Collection for Your Library
The Idaho Commission for Libraries is pleased to announce a new "online @ your library" opportunity for Idaho's public libraries. Get a collection of 14 books for your library's collection by applying online.
These 14 books address software tools, online safety, ebooks, and other basic digital literacy topics. Each publicly-funded public library jurisdiction is eligible to apply to receive the collection of 14 books.
The books should be added to the library's collection and made available to library users as part of the circulating or reference collections, whether in the main library, branches, bookmobiles, or a combination of locations. Collections should also be available to library users from libraries of all types through your normal interlibrary loan functions.
More information about this unique opportunity, including a list of the 14 titles, is available on the website.
Don't delay, the deadline for applications is JUNE 20, 2012.
