Great Conference Opportunity!
September 15-16th is the Northwest Interlibrary Loan and Resource Sharing Conference. The 4th Annual conference will be held in Portland over 2 days. It is conveniently scheduled in a way that allows for low-cost travel. The event will include Keynote Speaker Stephen Abrams. Programs include a session on filling ILL requests for genealogy information, the changing face of resource sharing, and OCLC Resource Sharing updates and tips.
Never been to the Northwest ILL Conference? You might find some funding support through Idaho’s LSTA funded CE grants for First Time Attendance at a Library Conference.

Great opportunity
Last week I had the opportunity to meet with some folks at OCLC. Yes, AT OCLC, in Ohio. It was my first visit to the OCLC headquarters, and I’d like to thankthe amazing staff there for welcoming us and making us feel so comfortable. The main purpose of the visit was to talk about marketing library services, but I learned a few interesting tidbits on the side. One of those is that OCLC has a library!
