The Idaho Commission for Libraries (ICFL) has commissioned a study of the LiLI-D program. The study’s purpose is to develop recommendations for LiLI-D enhancements and any needed adjustments to the program.

“Over the last 12 years, Idaho residents and libraries have come to depend on LiLI-D for current and accurate information,” notes State Librarian Ann Joslin. “As part of continuous improvement, the Commission is conducting this study to develop ways to make LiLI-D even better for its users.”

The study has four parts; the first part consists of two surveys, one for those who work in libraries and use LiLI-D, the second survey is a pop-up exit survey of LiLI-D users. The study’s second part will be focus groups scheduled for October. The third part is a review of similar programs in other states. The final study step is a report with recommendations for ICFL.

Survey activities started in July and will end in November. ICFL has commissioned Nancy Bolt and Associates to complete the study. Ms. Bolt and Karen Strege are the lead researchers for the study.

ICFL appreciates your willingness to participate in this important study and values your feedback.
