The face-to-face training will take place in a computer lab with
hands-on opportunities to practice using the databases and/or follow
along with the training.  By the end of the workshop, participants will:

• bea ble to perform basic and advanced searching in Ebscohost and World Book databases,
• be familar with the scope and target audiences of Ebscohost and WorldBook databases,
• be able to navigate between databases,
• be able to set up alerts in Ebscohost, and
• be able to locate author bibliographies and books by reading level, plot, and other characteristics in NoveList.
