OCLC Interlibrary Loan System Migration Information

The OCLC interlibrary loan system is changing with a whole new interface called OCLC WorldShare ILL.  ALL libraries with OCLC accounts will need to complete the steps below as a part of the migration to the new system... even if you haven't used OCLC for months, you need to do the steps below.

ILL System Changes in 2013

Libraries using OCLC's interlibrary loan tools will see significant changes to the interlibrary loan (ILL) system in 2013. OCLC is currently migrating from WorldCat Resource Sharing (on the FirstSearch platform) to World Share ILL (on the worldcat.org platform).  All Idaho libraries will begin the process of moving to the new platform in August 2013.

Energy Kit Lending Program - Project Report

In May 2010, Idaho libraries began loaning Energy Efficiency Kit as part of a statewide program funded by Idaho Power Company, Avista Utilities, and Rocky Mountain Power.  245 kits were put into circulation.  In the first year of the program, kits were checked out by library customers 1,139 times.

LiLI Database Content - UPDATE

LiLI Database Selections for July 2011 - Update

The following is an update on the LiLI Database Selection process.

Background:

The contracts currently in place for the LiLI Databases content will expire June 30, 2011.  The Idaho Commission for Libraries (ICfL) released a Request for Proposals (RFP) in February inviting proposals for content to replace those contracts beginning July 1, 2011. 

LiLI-D Implementing the Recommendations
