Spring Grant Writing Workshop hosted by ICfL!

The Idaho Commission for Libraries is pleased to host the upcoming Grant Writing Workshop, by Grant Writing USA,  at our Boise offices in the Capitol Mall area of Downtown Boise on May 12th and 13th, 2014.

In this class you'll learn how to find grants and write winning grant proposals.  This training is applicable to grant seekers across all disciplines. Beginning and experienced grant writers from city, county and state agencies as well as nonprofits, K-12, colleges and universities are encouraged to attend.  You do not need to work in the same profession as the host agency.

More information, including learning objectives, class location, graduate testimonials and online registration is available here: http://grantstraining.com/boise0514

Idaho library staff may apply to ICfL’s Continuing Education (CE) Grants for assistance with tuition and travel costs for this workshop.  Deadline to apply for an ICfL CE Grant for this workshop is March 21st.   The first step is to contact our CE Consultant, Shirley Biladeau, as soon as possible to get started on the grant request.  No late applications will be accepted.  Applications can take up to three weeks to process and receive final approval.   See the CE Grants page on our website for application materials and instructions.  Apply under "1st Time Conference Grants."
