David Lee King contends that if you can drive a "smart car" or any car for that matter -- you can social network. Like King, when I drive I think little about what makes it work and if it breaks down I rely on a mechanic to fix it! So I don't have to know how it works, just what to do to make it work -- I can use Microsoft Word to create a document and I know how to save. Those are the only tools I need to blog and participate in social networking!

The item that holds me back is "time" -- making it a daily part of my schedule is hard to do, as there are always so many other "fires" to tend and then by the time I get home -- looking at the computer is the last thing I want to do. Maybe that is a characteristic of my digital immigrant background! I keep trying though!
