Registration open for Read to Me Rendezvous, November 2 - 3, 2017

Registration is now open for Idaho public and school librarians planning to attend the biennial Read to Me Rendezvous in Boise, November 2 - 3.

November 2 will focus on topics that build the capacity of public libraries to better serve their communities.

November 3 will focus on how public and school libraries can support early learning and beginning readers, and partner with each other to make the most impact in their communities.

Public librarians and library staff are encouraged to attend both days, November 2 - 3.

School librarians and school staff are encouraged to attend Day 2, on November 3.

We encourage library staff to contact your public library or school library partner(s), and attend together if possible.

We have a great lineup of sessions, designed to meet the needs of both new and experienced staff working with young children.

And we hope you will join us at 5:00 on November 2 to celebrate Read to Me's 20th Anniversary, with a look back at all the great ways Idaho libraries have supported early learning through outreach and library programming over the years. And, of course, there will be cake!

Registration includes breakfast and lunch on both days for all attendees, and travel reimbursement and lodging on November 2 if traveling more than 40 miles one-way. Those traveling more than three hours are also eligible for lodging on November 1. See Travel Guidelines for more information.

Register now, as seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis! Limit two staff per library or school, please. Deadline is October 15!
