Most of us would respond to that question with "not very" (or possibly "who has time to be innovative?!")  4 Ways to Be More Innovative at Work, a recent Next Avenue  blog by Richard Eisenberg, stipulates that we grow more innovative as we age due to the fact we have more experiences to draw upon and assemble in truly creative ways.  Different ways of solving problems enhances one's value in libraries facing reduced resources and more users.

The blog describes 4 ways to be more innovative.  The most interesting suggestion to me was to work in a blue room because blue relaxes us and allows our imagination to run free.  Could looking at a blue monitor enhance your innovation?
