Apangea Summer Math Splash: June 6 – July 31

Just an hour or two a week on Apangea Math can help kids be prepared to hit the ground running when school starts again. Apangea Math is available for free throughout the summer and can be accessed any place there is a computer with an Internet connection, including at any Idaho public library, through “online @ your library,” the Idaho Commission for Libraries’ Broadband Technology Opportunities Program.

During the Apangea Summer Math Splash, June 6 – July 31, great prizes will be given away, with drawings to be held every two weeks. Kids can log into their Apangea account to find out how to be automatically entered to win.  Students in grades 4 through Algebra 1 are eligible.

Parents can register for an Apangea Parent Account at www.apangea.com/lms/parents/parentsignup.aspx. Once they’ve registered, they can go to www.apangea.com and login. From their parent account, they’ll be able to create accounts for their children, monitor progress, get help from customer support, and find additional information about Apangea Math and the Summer Math Splash contest.

Idaho public libraries can also create accounts for students. Find out how at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CcTEsxm40g.
