Effective Communication from ADA (includes Idaho Resources)
Northwest ADA Center-Idaho--a new statewide resource offering non-legal guidance, technical assistance, and training services on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)--would like to share this resource guide that they put together. This publication focuses on the requirement under the ADA to provide effective communication for individuals with disabilities to participate in government programs and services. Idaho resources are also included in this publication to help locate effective communication resources in local service areas.
Input on this guide was provided by Nancy Wise from the Idaho Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Steven Snow and Cindy Schreiner from the Council for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and Janice Carson and Wendy Kizer from the Idaho Assistive Technology Project.
This publication can be posted to your website and/or reproduced. Color copies are available for a small fee that covers the printing cost. Contact:
