"Maximize Your Job Search" tools available
Many job search tools and resources are available from the Idaho Department of Labor, including the following recent additions:
- Online workshop: "Maximize Your Job Search" online workshop, a step-by-step guide to a better job search that includes video and audio tips from Idaho employers, emphasizing what they expect to see in a potential employee. Find the online workshop at www2.labor.idaho.gov/jobsearchworkbook/.
- 24-page workbook: “Maximize Your Job Search” workbook, a 24-page guide to getting started; identifying skills, networking, the hidden job market, using social media, and more.
- A PDF of the “Maximize Your Job Search” workbook is available at http://labor.idaho.gov/publications/JobSearch_Workbook.pdf
- Printed copies of the “Maximize Your Job Search” workbook are available for your library collection. The workbook has been cataloged and a MARC record is available in OCLC. To request a printed copy, email Kristyn Carr at kristyn.carr@labor.idaho.gov with your library mailing information (limit 3).
Rack cards: Also available for your library are 4” x 9” rack cards to raise awareness of the “Maximize Your Job Search” tools with your library users. To request the rack cards, email Kristyn Carr at kristyn.carr@labor.idaho.gov (limit 100).
The "Maximize Your Job Search" tools are available through the “online @ your library” Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP) project.
