Idaho Commission for Libraries recently completed the first round of Digital Literacy Updates for Trustees. In these sessions, many of the questions and concerns raised by participants centered on “The Hunt for the Perfect Device.”
[Stacks], the Idaho Digital Repository, is a cooperative project of the Idaho Commission for Libraries and all state agencies. Created by state statute 33-2505, it is a searchable centralized collection of digital publications created by state agencies for the purpose of public information.

During the College and Career Ready Summit in summer 2012, library staff explored the role they could take in moving more Idaho students on to college and career paths.
With the assistance of a planning grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services and an advisory board made up of representatives from seven organizations, the Public Library Association (PLA) is researching current summer reading programs and creating a searchable national map of summer reading programs for both patrons and library staff to use.
