Talking Book Service campaign
The Commission’s “Never Stop Reading” campaign to promote the Talking Book Service (TBS), began in October and will run through June 2012. This statewide outreach, intended to provide information about TBS to potential users and their family and friends, features a 30-second public service announcement (PSA) that focuses on the variety of titles available to TBS users.

Institutions are now eligible to apply for accounts to download from BARD, the database of digital titles for those unable to read standard print.

Happy Birthday National Library Service!
On Thursday, March 3, the Talking Book Service (TBS) will host an Open House at ICfL from 1-3 pm to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Library Service (NLS) which supplies the audio books, magazines and players for TBS to loan to users statewide.
