The Idaho Commission for Libraries' Training and Continuing Education Program has been in existence since 1989, when the first long range plan for continuing education was written. This most recent document is a 3-year continuing education plan developed under contract with Sandra Nelson.

Recommendations for Continuing Education PDF Icon

In early 2003, the Idaho Commission for Libraries contracted with a consultant to develop the Statewide Continuing Education Plan 2003-2006. The resulting report, linked above, presents recommendations derived from data on current services and future needs, an online survey, and seven focus groups held around the state.
