LiLI: A (very) short history

In 1998, under Governor Batt’s leadership, Idaho legislators unanimously passed legislation to fund the Libraries Linking Idaho Databases (LiLI-D), thanks to Idaho librarians’ collective efforts. Our legislators have continued to fund the databases—and LiLI Unlimited, the state’s electronic catalog—ever since. Use these resources to promote LiLI services to your customers—and when you see your legislator, be sure and thank them for their support. Get bookmarks, pencils or check out a display banner!

LiLI Unlimited

• The LiLI Unlimited Catalog is a statewide library database to identify and locate materials in libraries throughout Idaho. Idaho libraries participating in the LiLI Unlimited Resource Sharing program get unlimited access to cataloging and interlibrary loan tools provided through the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC).
