Continuing Education

Through continuing education opportunities, the Idaho Commission for Libraries assists Idaho libraries in building capacity to better serve their clientele. Blended learning opportunities -- such as online training, workshops, and conferences -- are made available to Idaho's public and school library staff who do not have formal library education, with the intent of developing specialized skills and awareness of current and evolving library practices.

NOTICE: As of December 23, 2008, the Idaho Commission for Libraries will be placing a short-term moratorium on accepting applications for the following CE Grants:
• First Time Attendance at a Library Conference
• Staff and Trustee Development for Individuals/Group
• Support of Formal Library Science Courses
