Tweens and Teens

Tweens and Teens Logo

Tweens and Teens services are an important bridge between childrens' and adult services. Keep this fun audience involved in libraries and you'll create lifelong library users.

ICfL is committed to providing information, training, technical assistance, and resources for Idaho libraries and their community partners. Our vision is for all teens to be independent readers, lifelong learners, and become community leaders.

The ICFL supports two events for teens each year:

2012 Course Information Now Available!

Do you know teens that are into technology are a growing phenomenon, frequently being used to engage readers and encourage them to read new titles? Jump on the bandwagon and learn how to create projects of all kinds using ALA’s READ content and a FREE photo-editing software program.
ICfL has put together an exciting series of activities held from January to March, to help library staff from across the state master new technology and enhance services to teens. Teens and Technology 2012 is designed to provide library staff with the tools they need to take this knowledge home and implement similar projects with teens. We will achieve this through regional hands-on workshops, online learning and networking, and a face to face meeting at ICfL. And not only that—it will be loads of fun!
