Tweens and Teens services are an important bridge between childrens' and adult services. Keep this fun audience involved in libraries and you'll create lifelong library users.

ICfL is committed to providing information, training, technical assistance, and resources for Idaho libraries and their community partners. Our vision is for all teens to be independent readers, lifelong learners, and become community leaders.

The ICFL supports these events for teens:

Teen Read Week

Held annually in October, school and public libraries encourage teens to read. Check out Idaho's programs!

Make It at the Library

This project supports “Making” in Idaho libraries by providing training and materials to implement  STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics)-based programming all ages. The project encourages the use of tools and technology to engage patrons in new ways. In 2017 the project will be open to all types of libraries (academic, public, school) and trainings will be held regionally to reduce participant travel time. Participating libraries will also receive a community education kit to share with community organizations serving diverse audiences.
