LSTA - Library Services & Technology
LSTA funds are Federal funds awarded to the Commission for Libraries from the Institute of Museum and Library Service (IMLS). These funds are governed by the purposes and priorities set forth by the US Congress,in conjunction with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circulars for allowable uses of Federal funds. The purposes and priorities can be found in the Code of Federal Regulations 45 CFR 1183 at http://www.gpoaccess.gov. OMB Circulars for Allowable Uses can be found at http://www.whitehouse.gov OMB Circulars. The priorities for LSTA can also be found in the LSTA Guide under Grants to Libraries.
The Commission for Libraries has temporarily suspended the Competitive and Just In Time grant programs due to decreased funding levels. Further information will be provided when these programs will be resumed. The Commission continues to provide the Continuing Education grant program.
