Changing the Skin for the Entire Site

Step 1: Click Administer >> Site Building >> Themes

Step 2: To use the GrandCentral theme, make sure that the Enabled checkbox is checked and that the Default radio button is selected. These options are located to the right of the GrandCentral theme’s logo.

Step 3: To change the GrandCentral’s default settings, click on the configure link found to the right of the GrandCentral logo.

Step 4: Scroll down to the Theme Specific Settings section to configure the skins

Step 5: If you want to change the skin for the entire site, choose the desired skin from the Select Skin drop down menu

*Note: The 2 Point 0, Purplicious, and Bookin themes have all been converted to skins.

Step 6: Click Save Configuration at the bottom of the page to save your changes

Changing the Theme

Step 2: To change the theme, check the Enabled checkbox and select the Default radio button located to the right of the screenshot of the desired theme.

Modifying the Site Title

Changing the site title text that shows up on an e-branch site can be done by doing the following:

Login
- See the walkthrough on how to login
Click on Administer >> Site Configuration >> Site Information^* in the User Navigation Menu
Update the NAME box with the desired text
Click Save Configuration at the bottom of the page

* Note: This can be accessed directly at http://yoursite.lili.org/admin/settings/site-information. You'll have to replace "yoursite" with your site's name.

Setting the Footer Message

Changing the information that appears in the footer section of an e-branch site can be done as follows:

Login
- See the walkthrough on how to login
Click on Administer >> Site Configuration >> Site Information^* in the User Navigation Menu
Update the FOOTER MESSAGE box with the desired text
- Please note: This text box will allow you to put HTML directly into it (e.g. <a href=""></a> for hyperlinks)
Click Save Configuration at the bottom of the page

Adding Additional Contacts with Categories

Click Administer >> Site Building >> Contact Form and then click on the Add Category tab
Fill in the Category and Recipient boxes. The Auto-Reply is optional.
- Category can be the name of the Department or Perhaps the name of a Person
- Recipient is the email address or addresses of the department or person
- Auto-Reply will automatically send out a response message to the e-mail address that is provided by the person filling out the form
Option: Set the Weight of the category
- See the Weight handbook page
Option: Make a category the default
- this is used when there is more than one category
Click Submit at the bottom of the page to save the changes

Embedding a YouTube Video

In a browser, visit http://www.youtube.com
Search Out the video that want to emded (for this example I will use the video clip Library Dominos)
Click on the desired video
On the page that comes up, find the Embed code snippet
Highlight the entire snippit and Copy it
* You can use CTRL + C on your Keyboard, right click and select Copy, or Click Edit >> Copy in your Browser's Menu Bar
Return to your site
Enter Edit Mode
Click Disable Rich Text
Paste the snippet into the Body section
Click Submit at the bottom of the page to save the changes

Editing Online Contact Information

Find the Contact Us link on your site and click on it to bring up the site-wide contact form to get an idea of what the form looks like
Click Administer >> Site building >> Contact form
Click Settings tab, then edit the message in the Additional Information text box so it displays the correct information on the site-wide contact form.
Click Save configuration when finished making changes
To verify the changes were made, fine the Contact Us link on your site. You should now see the changes made to the site-wide message.

Adding a Page to the Menuing System

Enter Edit Mode
Scroll down and click Menu Settings link

If the "Menu Settings" field on your edit page isn't expanded, click on the little black arrow next to the "Menu Settings" label to open it.
Give the menu item a Title by filling in the Title text field. This information will be used as the human-readable text people can click on.
Option: Add a Description. The description is used to display a tooltip. Tooltips are the dialog boxes that appear when hovering over a hyperlink.
Select Parent Item
* It may take a moment to get the hang of it, but if you notice that the top level menus have no hypens next to them, but the sub pages do, you'll find your way around in no time. By default, most e-branch sites have an "On Our Site" menu where you'll want to locate most of your content.

Click Submit at the bottom of the page to save the changes

Help System

Drupal, the content management platform that your e-branch site is built on, provides its own help system.

In your user menu, select administer > help and you'll be taken to a help menu where you can check out a glossary of terms and read up on some of the various modules used to create your site.
