There's something being passed around among the library blogs these last couple of days.  Authors of the various blogs are being asked to list 8 random things about themselves that possibly others don't already know.  I thought about doing that here with a different take, here are 8 things that might not be known about ICFL:

1.  In 2006, ICFL was offered assistance from 79 volunteers that contributed 8,979 hours in support of ICFL services and programs.

2. ICFL has a MySpace:  http://www.myspace.com/icflonline 

3. In 2006, 1,393,892 full-text articles were access using the LiLI Databases.

4. ICFL staff members are amazing cooks. A special table in a work area frequented by all staff is set aside just for food brought in for sharing.

5. Since 2003, ICFL has helped 56 Idaho library staff members to attend a library-related conference for the first time through LSTA CE grants.

6. Some ICFL staff participate in a wellness program. The team is currently walking, biking, and exercising their way through a "Great Virtual World Tour." We're currently making our way through Belize.

7. ICFL has a Flickr space where you can see photos from our many events. 

8. The ICFL Professional Development Service is quite like NetFlix in that an Idaho librarian can request an item and it will be mailed to them. It's mailed in a zippered bag that can then be used to mail the item back when your done with it. Postage already paid.
