OCLC/WorldCat Fiction Finder

I re-found OCLC Fiction Finder recently.  It's a project currently in Beta mode from OCLC Research.  From the site, "With FictionFinder, you can search for books, eBooks, and audiobooks
by titles, authors, ISBNs, and other information such as literary
awards and book summaries. You can also browse the FictionFinder database by genre, fictional character, imaginary place or setting, and subject."  Once the user finds an item they like, they can link into WorldCat.org with the "Find Any edition" link.  This shows what libraries nearby actually have the item.Pretty cool.

Gina, I can't see the point of this "Fiction Finder" - it failed to find all six authors I searched - including their book titles (unless I'm doing something wrong) - but all six authors and titles came up stright away on Google - notably Charles Buckowski and Michel Houellebecq. I can understand the French author not being listed but Buckowski? Once in WorldCat, Houellebecq had 139 results but still no Buckowski - which I find quite odd. à bientôt, Lambe, Paris.
