Now that the first day is finished and I have had a good night's sleep -- I have been reflecting. At this point, common threads are beginning to appear.  Here is what I see this morning:

1.  Change begins with "U" -- change cannot be fostered or facilitated until individuals change themselves and their behavior.

2.  Community of practice -- change takes practice and it takes a community of individuals willing to practice together and build relations.

3.  Communication is critical -- if individuals are not willing or able to communicate their needs and/or concerns to everyone (not just their "friends" in the break room), then change will never occur -- it comes back to -- Change begins with "U" or in this case me (I)!
