Reserving the Building Bridges Display
Idaho libraries, agencies and organizations are welcome to borrow these great displays. Displays are reserved by contacting Nancy Reese at the Idaho Commission for Libraries. She can be reached by e-mail Nancy Reese or by calling (800) 458-3271 or 334-2150 in the Boise area. There are three table top Building Bridges displays available. All come with 60 plus great multicultural books in book baskets and support materials (door hangers and booklists).
Check out time for the display is two weeks. If you live more than 90 minutes from Boise, the State Commission will ship the display to you and pay for return shipping. In order to get shipping costs down, we ask those who live within driving distance to make arrangements to pick-up and drop off the display at the State Commission. We also try to arrange times and scheduling when shipping to get the display to as many sites within the destination area as possible.
The display comes with a guest book, inventory check off list, display board, rainbow bridge panel, three large blue baskets and two smaller blue baskets, support materials, 66 books, five mailing boxes for the books, and one mailing box for the display.
A feedback form is also included. To help us evaluate this pilot project, please complete the form and return it to the State Commission. The first 50 people who send in the forms will receive a free copy of Promoting a Global Community Through Multicultural Children's Literature by Stanley F. Steiner.
