Idaho Commission for Libraries

In the last few months we've gone through a number of changes - a new name, new office configurations, etc. - and now a new web site.

The reasons for redesigning our site are many:

• it was time for a fresh take on our web services
• our navigation scheme needed retooling
• we wanted to use the Drupal content management platform
• we saw opportunities to enhance our capabilities and delivery (adding features like RSS feeds, for example)
• we felt it was important to separate our site from the LiLI.org domain name in order to give that site and our own clearer identities
• the State of Idaho is moving towards the Idaho.gov domain to help its residents more easily detect when a web site belongs to an official State of Idaho agency

We hope you'll find our redesigned web site easy to use. We've put a lot of effort into building it with standards compliance and accessibility issues in mind.
