T07353-00 Idaho Historical Society’s Digital Collection Planning Grant brought the Society’s collection to the world in a digital format, allowing not only Idahoan’s but all who want, to look at the Society’s collection from the comfort of their homes as opposed to traveling to Boise. The project created policies and procedures for a balanced well planned program taking into consideration all the various issues that impact digitization projects. This project was also the impetus for other entities to join the group, creating digital collections of their own that were posted on the website. These collections can be seen at www.idig.lili.org.
