Critical Learning Skills in the 21st Century: Collaborating for Student Success
The March 2009 three-day in-service brought together teacher-librarians, science teachers, and their VIPs to focus on expanding services for student learning and access to information and education resources through school library media centers. The free event was made possible by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the Idaho Commission for Libraries.
Outcomes
Participants left ready to use the Big6 model in developing lesson plans that incorporate the LiLI Databases.
In addition, some teacher librarians have developed curriculum designed to bring their teachers up to speed.
