- Select the image you would like to insert from the list

- Click Send to tinymce

- Enter a description of the image in the Image Description Field. Please keep in mind that the description that you give the image is what will be read back to individuals that require the use of a screen reader. Be descriptive. For example, a title of "bird" doesn't have as much meaning as "peregrine falcon perched on a branch" when describing an image.

- Click Insert
- Click Save at the bottom of the page to save the changes
Altering Inserted Images
Once you have an image inserted, you may wish to change how it's displayed. Click the
button to alter an image's attributes.
If you don't like the formatting on an image, which aligns it to the left or right, then click on the
button to remove all formatting from an object. This button also removes text formatting.
Where To Get Free Images
A great site for finding royalty-free, free images that you can use in your site is Yotophoto. This search engine locates creative commons, public domain and other images from the Internet which you can use. It also has an amazing "advanced search" feature that allows you search for images by color!
Please be certain to check the usage restrictions on any images you locate with Yotophoto. Some require that the original creator be attributed when you use the image.
Of course, you could also buy a collection of royalty-free images on a CD/DVD or through a subscription service. Search the web for more information on that option.
How to Edit images
Drupal creates different sizes of the images you upload, and you can select which you want to use when inserting an image. If the images you're uploading are very large, you'll probably want to make them a smaller size before you try to upload them, otherwise your upload may timeout.
To do detailed work with graphics or create new ones from scratch, you may consider purchasing a program such as PaintShop Pro ($) or Photoshop ($$$) or downloading the open source image editor the Gimp (free) or Paint.net (free). There's even a Flash-based online image editor you can use free at fauxto.com. The interface for all of these is a bit daunting at first, but with practice, you can get the hang of them.
