With 141 locations in Idaho, public libraries play a critical role in public access to online services and resources in workforce development, e-government, and education.

The Idaho Commission for Libraries annually releases Idaho Library Statistics, a compilation of statistical data from all Idaho public libraries and publicly funded school libraries. ICfL encourages all Idaho libraries to participate in these annual surveys.

All public library directors should have received an e-mail last Friday addressing the candidate pool for our Broadband Technology Opportunity Program (BTOP) grant proposal. Over the spring we’ve heard from a number of libraries that their reported connectivity speed is incorrect.
