Teen Read Week is October 16-22 and this year’s theme is Picture It @ your library. We have jumped on the bandwagon and tied this year’s project to photography. The ICfL wants to know if you are going to participate in TRW this year! We collected some great baseline data on library and teen participation last year and want to continue gathering information on teen services.

I’m pleased to announce “Read Long & Prosper” is the winning slogan for key-chain id wallets. Thanks to all 37 folks who voted. Here’s the breakdown—Read Long & Prosper, 16; Library: The Final Frontier, 7; Book-Obsessed, 5; and Need to Read, 9.
