Finding aids: Of special interest are local and regional titles (VCTs) recorded by volunteers in the Talking Book Service recording studio. VCTs are also part of the Talking Book Catalog. Books and Magazines in BrailleUsers can receive Braille books directly from the Talking Book Library in Salt Lake City. Contact the Idaho Talking Book Service to enroll in this service. Finding aids:
Users with computers can also download electronic Braille books via Web-Braille. Contact the Talking Book Service for a password to access Web-Braille books. Complete a Braille magazines online order form to select Braille magazines. MagazinesMore than 70 popular magazines can be received in cassette or large print format. These titles are only available to registered users of the Idaho Talking Book Service. Review the list of titles and subscribe to those you would like to receive. MusicBraille and large-print music scores and texts; instructional recordings on cassette about music and musicians. Descriptive videosThese videos of popular movies contain descriptions to help visually impaired viewers follow the action.
