ICfL FY2019 Budget Enhancement Request -- Fast Facts:

The ICfL may request additional funding, an “enhancement,” to its budget for the fiscal year. The Request is submitted to the Governor and is ultimately voted on by the Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee (JFAC). For FY19, one of the enhancement requests is to fund the Idaho Talking Book Service (TBS) with state funds rather than federal funds.

ICfL FY2019 Tax Credits for Contributions to Public Libraries Fact Sheet

Individuals and corporations that contribute to libraries are eligible for tax savings. Idaho Code section 63-3029A allows individuals or corporations to take a tax credit for monetary charitable contributions made to public libraries, library districts, and the Idaho Commission for Libraries.

Donations of goods or services do not qualify.
