Programming
- Funding opportunity from Hive Mechanic – We are recruiting 25+ libraries to become hubs for making outdoor games and interactive stories — using your local history, community voices, and neighborhood landmarks. This is a 2022-23 initiative, thanks to an IMLS grant. Deadline is August 15th.
- Meridian Library District is making fidget quilts and looking for volunteers to help sew them for senior living communities in Meridian. These lap-sized blankets provide tactile stimulation and calming activities for people experiencing challenges with cognitive change or dementia.Quilt supplies are made possible by Project Neighborly and the Idaho Community Foundation.
