Access to the Chilton Library of vehicle maintenance and repair information through the Libraries Linking Idaho (LiLI) platform will end on September 30, 2025. The Chilton service was funded by the Idaho Commission for Libraries (ICfL) and freely available to Idahoans through https://lili.org and/or their public library’s website. Funding for statewide access to the Chilton Library is no longer available.

There is an array of resources that remain freely available on LiLI, including NoveList Plus, which makes finding the right book even easier. Users can browse for titles by age group, genre, category, such as award winners or book club, read-alikes, appeals, such as well-crafted dialogue, and more. With NoveList Plus, users can create a curated book list, set up search alerts, and see only books available at their library. Readers can easily find books that are just their style with NoveList Plus on LiLI.

World Book Kids and World Book Student are other popular resources on LiLI. The rich encyclopedia content features articles, primary source collections, educator tools, student activities and games, current event tie-ins, audiovisual components, and citation help. For students of all grade levels, or anyone who just wants to explore interesting things, World Book is the place to go.

Also available through https://lili.org is Ebsco’s LearningExpress™ Library, which offers career resources, including ways to sharpen workplace skills, learn about various careers, and prepare for professional exams, including those for cosmetology, nursing, plumbing, and real estate. On LearningExpress™, there are video tutorials for learning Microsoft software and understanding the operating system of a computer. And, in the “Adult Core Skills” section, users will find tutorials, practice sets, videos, and e-books for developing the core skills of math, reading, grammar, writing, and speaking. Also on LearningExpress™, students can prepare for important exams, such as the ACT® or SAT®, and improve their skills in math, English, science, social studies, technology, logic, and reasoning.

Check out LiLI for these resources and many more. They are all freely available to Idahoans – 24/7.
