“Social-Emotional” learning has become a catch-phrase we’re hearing about a lot in the media lately. Join us February 4 to discuss what social-emotional learning is, why it is important to the development of healthy children, and how libraries can support (and already are supporting) social-emotional learning through storytimes, collection development, and within the physical library environment. As a result of this discussion, we hope library staff will feel knowledgeable and comfortable talking to parents and caregivers about this topic.
