Information about our presenters:
- Jessica Martinez is the Science Librarian at the University of Idaho. She cares deeply about making libraries welcoming places for students and helping them succeed. Her other interests include library marketing, open education, reference services, and her dog, Bea.
- Mary C. Aagard recently transitioned from the role of Head, Access Services to interim Head, Acquisitions and Collections at Boise State University. Though this seems like a giant leap across librarian disciplines, Mary’s passion for student success is a theme that unifies both areas. She is the liaison to the Communication and Media Department. Her research interests include student wellness, resource accessibility, and collection development philosophies.
- Elizabeth Ramsey is an associate professor and librarian at Boise State University’s Albertsons Library. She is the liaison to programs in the School of Public Service, as well as the Center for Global Education. Among her research interests are critical information literacy and outreach to underrepresented students in higher education. She currently lurks on Twitter as @BeeRamzee.
