The Idaho Commission for Libraries (ICfL) is recruiting for a deputy state librarian.
— is a member of the ICfL’s management team
— contributes to the development and evaluation of the ICfL’s strategic plan, policies, etc., including personnel, annual budget, and assignments
— coordinates planning and evaluation of statewide development programs
— hires/coaches/evaluates consultant and program staff
— represents the interests of the Idaho library community to state/national policymakers
The deputy state librarian position is based in Boise, Idaho and requires travel, as needed.
