The Idaho Commission for Libraries is seeking a school library consultant to support and strengthen school library services across the state. The consultant provides virtual and in-person consulting, conducts site visits, and collaborates with ICfL staff, state agencies, and partner organizations on statewide initiatives. Key responsibilities include managing projects, grants, and resources that help school libraries meet student and community needs; creating and maintaining school-focused content on the ICfL website; and promoting statewide e-resources such as the IDEA/Sora collection and LiLI databases.

The position also delivers professional development for school library staff and educators in multiple formats; builds partnerships with local, state, and national organizations; and advocates for the role of school libraries with administrators and school boards. Additional duties include collecting and analyzing school library statistics to support statewide planning.
