Idaho Family Reading Week 2024 is headed your way!
This November 4-10, Idaho Family Reading Week 2024 is all about TRANSPORTATION! Kids love cars, planes, trains, boats, motorcycles, skateboards, horses … all things that go! Get ready to zoom into the 2024 theme with the slogan “Rev Up Your Reading!”
Library registration is open September 16 to October 15. The ICfL will provide custom-created, transportation-themed activity booklets for two age groups (pre-K – 3rd and 4th – 7th), as well as transportation-themed paperback books and bookmarks to the first 100 Idaho libraries to register. The rest is up to you and your staff! Google slides full of additional resources, program ideas, and activities will be posted to the FRW homepage for your exploration and themed graphics and promotional materials are ready to go!
The ICfL focuses the program theme, materials, and supplies on pre-K through sixth/seventh grade, but library staff are welcome to incorporate books and activities for older kids or teens.
