Administrative Accounts

Libraries that have requested individual sub-accounts for local administration of database access can add IP address ranges and make other administrative adjustments by logging in through their administrative account. If you do not know your administrative account, contact Ebsco Support at support@ebscohost.com or 800-758-5995.

IP Address ranges for your library can be adjusted in the administrative module.  Usage accessed from a computer within your IP range or through your connected remote patron authentication tools will be associated with your sub-account.Libraries and their users accessing the databases through the LiLI Portal, do not need to make any administrative adjustments.

Accessing LearningExpress Library

LearningExpress Library is available in the LiLI Portal. All users must to authenticated as Idaho residents; accessing the service through the Portal accomplishes this. Users accessing the system for the first time will need to create a personal login and password. That personal login may be used when accessing LearningExpress Library from any Web-accessible computer.

For Access outside the LiLI Portal

To set up authentication via IP address authentication, codabar, or referring URL; contact LearningExpress Library Support. 

Training

LearningExpress Library offers a regular “Guided Tours.”
Archived webinars and online tutorials are also available on the LiLI Tutorials site.

Linking From the Libraries Website

If your library staff and users access World Book Online through the LiLI Portal, there is nothing to adjust on your library’s website.

IP Address Recognition

If your IP address range has been submitted to World Book, users linking to the service from a computer within that range, will be automatically authenticated when they go to http://www.worldbookonline.com.

Remote Patron Authentication

Libraries that have signed up for an administrative account with World Book (if not, contact them at the number above), will have received an email with the URLs for linking to the World Book content from your website for remote users.  If you have not received this email, contact World Book technical support.
