LITT: IT

This Listserv is designed to give IT staff and contracted IT service providers an opportunity to network, share ideas, and discuss issues they may be having in their libraries to pool their collective knowledge and support each other.

Some of the things that we encourage IT staff to share with others include:

• Tips and tricks for servers, desktops, tablets, software, content filtering, etc.
• Webinars and training opportunities related to technology, whether specific to libraries or IT in general
• Technology trends you have noticed
• New technology offerings in your libraries
• Planned technology initiatives and the end results
• Funding opportunities for new or replacement technology

Please note that this Listserv will be restricted to active IT staff and contracted IT service providers who are providing on-going support to libraries in the state. To ensure that IT staff have a dedicated place to talk about on-going issues, vendors, etc., no sales reps or others will be approved for membership into this Listserv.
