The Idaho Commission for Libraries (ICfL) is pleased to announce our latest initiative to keep adults earning and students learning – the Statewide Job Fair.
The Statewide Job Fair aims to help Idahoans find a job or get a better job. To that end, the ICfL has created resources for libraries of all types. We have resources to help libraries host a job fair, career expo, or job skills workshop. Our toolkit for libraries includes:
- Media and Programming Resources for feedback forms, outreach email templates, programming ideas, and more.
- Teen Resources for teens moving into their first career, finding a summer job, or working their way to college.
- Adult Resources for adults growing skills, transitioning from a layoff, or working toward a promotion.
- Older Adult Resources for older adults re-entering the workforce, gaining 21st-century skills, or connecting with opportunities.
- Regional Resources for libraries around the state.
- Recursos en Español (Spanish Resources) for libraries to tailor to their Spanish-speaking patrons.
- General Resources for Idahoans’ holistic needs.
Join us for an informational webinar on Thursday, January 29, at 2 p.m. MT / 1 p.m. PT. We’ll talk about strategies for hosting a job fair. Then we’ll go over the resources in the toolkit and highlight the different ways you can join.
Register Now! All who register will receive access to the live event as well as a link to the recording afterwards.
