Summer Summit

Summer Summit 2025 cancelled

We are so sad to share the disappointing news that Summer Summit 2025 has been cancelled. Due to the severe downsizing of the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS), the only federal agency that provides support to the nation’s libraries, the funding that the Idaho Commission for Libraries (ICfL) uses to host this event has become unavailable.

In addition to the IMLS cuts, and in adherence to Idaho Statute, Title 67, Chapter 19 concerning a reduction in federal funding, the ICfL is precluded from utilizing state funds to continue a federally funded initiative that has experienced a reduction or removal of federal funding.

We are sorry that this “one-two punch” has impacted Summer Summit.
