The Law:
“State publication” means any information, regardless of format, published by a state agency and intended for distribution to the public. State publication does not include correspondence, internal confidential publications, office memoranda, university press publications, items detailed by sections 9-340A through 9-340H, Idaho Code, or other information excluded or exempted by rule promulgated by the board of library commissioners. Idaho Code for this law is 33-2505.
The List:
- Reports that describe the activity of an agency or a subset of an agency
- Provides access to the information produced by one or more of the services inherent to the agency
- Provides access to services
- Legislatively, judicially or administratively mandated
- Presents the results of a state task force, commission, or of committee work
- Intended to be distributed and shared with the public
- Unique or substantial content
