What started as a small collection of books for ICfL staff to use internally for their own professional development has grown into two new ways Idaho library staff can access relevant professional development materials:
- Borrow the physical books through ILL
- Borrow e-books and audiobooks on IDEA
Interested in becoming a better library leader? Want to learn about the history of censorship? Need to brush up on your collection development theory? Our professional development collection is here to help!
Our small collection of physical books can be requested through Inter-Library Loan (ILL) and sent to your home library. You can search for titles in our collection on WorldCat and then follow the standard ILL process for your library when you find an item you’d like to request. View the ICfL on WorldCat at this link. We have a four-week checkout period for any of our physical books.
Additionally, we recommend you look at our growing collection of Professional Development e-books and audiobooks available on IDEA.
For more information on accessing this collection, please reach out to Annie Gaines (annie.gaines@libraries.idaho.gov) or Marina Rose (marina.rose@libraries.idaho.gov).
